THE MISS PREMIER 2016
The miss Premier contest was a very gorgeous and challenging competition out of all. The competition included eight contestants who all looked gorgeous and beautiful. The contestants were ; Teddy Lucas, Karen Vincent, Vanessa David, Merciana, Sharifa , Dyness, Yvonne Burette and Fatma Nyoni. The contest had three rounds. Office wear, Town wear and Traditional wear. Not only were the contestants shining, but also the designers. Among the designers were Jackquline Mrema, Aisa Mwinshehe, the form six, four and three in general.

The competition was a stone but a
fire cracker at the end. Where out of
the eight only five contestants entered the final. Before the results were announced, there were
different kinds of entertainments like dancing and singing.

What an attractive and beautiful
lady…….Vanessa David. She is in form three taking Science. she was the fourth
run up and the most beautiful one we could say….! In her office wear… she
looked like a grown up in baby clothes…. as we can see… . When we come to town
wear she could have done better …. Talking about traditional, no one can deny
that she was amazing.
KAREN VINCENT MILLER
How amazing and beautiful was the
third run up Karen Vincent a form one girl…. her office wear was a big
WOOW! the town wear made her look like a
cheeky teen. about the traditional wear…. she looked more vegetational and
Masai like… we could say she was out of fashion.
Out of five….. only three managed
to enter the semi finals. we could say that the competition was so tough. the
breaking three were Sharifa Fahmi, Teddy Lucas and Yvonnne Burette.

SHARIFA FAHMI
Sharifa is a form three girl
taking science and was the second run up.We can not deny she is cute, but the
town wear was kind of drab…. the office
wear was not so bad although .. too much of anything is harmfull… Sharifa
nailed it in the traditional wear… we could say she was the best and fits to be
an Indian… MASHALLAH.. Namastei to the
designer Aisa Mwishehe.. BIG UP!!
TEDDY LUCAS
As they say… beauty is brain…
a form one girl Teddy Lucas was the
first up runner. she was a golden rose in her town wear… she looked
professional and charming in her office wear… the traditional wear was out of
custom and her hair was spiky;

YVONNE BURETTE
She was like an angel as she walked In her Traditional wear. her
office wear was spectacular but the heels over size… we advice her to take her
size next time. The town wear wasn’t that much but she tried her best.
FINALLY…!!! the time we were all
waiting for… the beautiful three misses
went for the last part in the contest… they were asked questions like… What
would you do if you became the miss premier…. who is your role model and why…
who is the person who inspires you and what has she done to the society.

MIND
To me the very essence
of education is the concentration of mind and not the collection of facts.
If I had to do my
education over again and had any voice in the matter, I would not study facts
at all I would develop the power of concentration and detachment and then with
a perfect instrument (mind) I could collect fact at will.
NATURE OF MIND
Mind
Is that factually by
virtue of which we are able to conscious and aware of ourselves. Consciousness
and awareness of self and other are the basic characteristics of mind which
distinguish living things from non living things. A stone is not conscious of
its since it has on mind. The same to all the physical objects. They can’t
think, analyze, feason, feel good or bad, senses pleasure and pain imagines and
worries. The body is the instrument of mind through which it (mind) acts in the
world and also suffers or enjoy.
MIND IS DIFFERENT FROM THE BRAIN
-
Brain
is the physical organ like any other organ of the body while mind is non
physical entity. Brain can be compared to sophisticated computer through which
mind controls and connects its self to the body. Thus the brain acts as a link
between the mind and the body. Thinking, reasoning, feeling, imagine etc are
all attributes of mind. The brain being physical and inanimate of nature can’t
think or feel. Thus the brain and the body are simply instruments of the mind.

Always
the disturbance in the balanced state of mind can be caused by various negative
emotions and vices in mind like hatred, jealousy, anger, great, revenge, ego,
attachment to worldly things, selfishness.
